Build things that
actually get built.

We're a small, senior team that designs, manufactures, and automates real machinery - not just drawings and decks. If you want to see your work run on a factory floor, AptoCAD is the right place.

Who we are

A team that owns
the whole problem.

Most engineering teams hand off at some point - design to manufacturing, manufacturing to automation, automation to commissioning. At AptoCAD, the same team does it all. That means you'll work across the full lifecycle of every project, not just one slice of it.

We're small by design. Everyone here can hold a project in their head from blank page to running machine. We hire slowly because the people on the team are the product - and we'd rather keep it tight and excellent than grow for its own sake.

We're based in Sri Lanka and work with clients across the US, EU, and Asia. That combination - international-standard engineering at competitive rates - is the position we're building, and the team is what makes it credible.

What you get

Real end-to-end work

You'll see projects from concept to commissioning. No silo'd roles where you never find out if the machine ran.

International clients

Work with engineering teams in Germany, the US, and across Asia Pacific. Your drawings and code ship globally.

Fast feedback loops

Small team means no bureaucracy between your work and the outcome. You'll know quickly whether something worked.

Room to grow

Early hires at a growing firm get exposure that takes years to get at larger companies. We promote from within.

Tools that matter

SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PLC environments, real workshop equipment. No compromise on the tools you need to do good work.

Documented everything

We document our work well - drawings, code, processes. Joining is straightforward; you're not guessing how things are done.

How we work

What working here actually looks like.

Not the standard "fast-paced environment" copy. What the job is really like day to day.

- 01

Small team, big scope

You'll wear multiple hats on early projects. That's not a warning - it's the opportunity. Engineers here get exposure that takes years to accumulate at larger firms. You'll design something and watch it run within months.

- 02

International from day one

Most of our clients are in the US and EU. That means English-language communication, drawings to ASME/ISO standards, and deliverables that need to be read and used by teams who've never met you. We support you in getting that right.

- 03

Quality is non-negotiable

We don't cut corners to hit a deadline. If a drawing isn't ready, it doesn't go out. If the machine doesn't run cleanly, commissioning continues until it does. We'd rather have difficult conversations with a client than ship something we're not proud of.

- 04

Direct, no layers

You talk to the client. You talk to the founder. There's no project manager translating between you and the work. That means real accountability, and real credit when things go well. Mistakes are fixed, not hidden.

- 05

Documentation is part of the job

Good drawings, documented code, clear handover packages - these aren't afterthoughts here. Part of doing the job well is leaving a paper trail that another engineer can pick up in six months. We take that seriously.

- 06

We're building something

AptoCAD is early-stage and growing intentionally. The people joining now are building the culture, the processes, and the reputation. If you want to help shape what this firm becomes, that opportunity is real here.
