Frequently asked

Questions we get before
most engagements.

Design-only projects typically take 2–8 weeks depending on complexity. Manufacturing adds 4–10 weeks for fabrication, assembly, and QC. Full turnkey machines including automation usually run 12–20 weeks from kickoff to commissioning. We'll give you a firm timeline in the quote - we don't pad, we don't lowball.

Yes - every engagement runs under NDA, and we operate as if one is in place from the first email. We can sign yours, or provide our standard mutual NDA. Your designs, IP, and project details are never shared, never published in our portfolio without explicit written permission.

That's fine. Many of our clients engage us for a single discipline - for example, design firms who need manufacturing capacity, or factories who need PLC programming for machines they've already built. You're not locked into the full stack.

For CAD: native SolidWorks (.sldprt, .sldasm, .slddrw) or AutoCAD (.dwg, .dxf), plus neutral formats like STEP and IGES on request. Drawings are delivered as dimensioned PDFs. BOMs come as Excel files. Wiring diagrams as PDF. PLC source code is provided with your project. Everything yours, no licensing locks.

We export-pack with reinforced wooden crating, provide all commercial invoices, packing lists, country-of-origin certificates, and HS code documentation. We can coordinate air or sea freight with your forwarder, or arrange shipping ourselves on a DDP basis. Most of our international clients receive their machines ready for unboxing and commissioning.

Fixed-price by default. We quote a defined scope at a defined price, with milestone-based billing (typically 30% on signing, 40% at design approval, 30% on commissioning). If scope changes mid-project, we'll quote the change separately before doing the work - never after. Hourly engagement is available for advisory work or undefined R&D scopes.

Yes - we frequently slot in as extended capacity for in-house engineering teams. We can collaborate in your CAD environment, attend your design reviews, and follow your drawing standards. Many of our long-term clients use us as their flexible engineering bench.
